We have a limited number of apartments and bedrooms in Dillard Hall. When we run out of these spaces, we will begin housing students in the University Park Apartments at a higher rate. In order to keep the rates as low as possible, we encourage you to select Option A if at all possible.

If you require an ADA-compliant room due to physical limitations, Dillard Hall does have some fully-compliant rooms. Please be sure to make note of this in your registration form.

2024 Housing Options and Associated Costs

“Total Cost” (below) represents your total cost for the Singing School, meals, and lodging, based on which Housing Option you select.

Option A: Dillard Hall, on-campus, with a roommate (Total Cost $595)

Five nights (Sunday night-Thursday night) in a double-occupancy bedroom (with its own bath) in an on-campus, two-bedroom apartment with suitemates (each bedroom has its own bath). Each bed is a twin-XL and the height is adjustable. Bedding and towels are included. Easy walk to classes. The price is $595.

Additional nights, before or after Singing School, are available for an additional $35/night.

Option B: Dillard Hall, on-campus, without a roommate (Total Cost $770)

Five nights (Sunday night-Thursday night) in a private bedroom (with private bath) in an on-campus, two-bedroom apartment without a roommate but with suitemate(s). Each bed is a twin-XL and the height is adjustable. Bedding and towels are included. Easy walk to classes. Price increases to $770.

Additional nights, before or after Singing School, are available for an additional $70/night.

Option C: On Your Own (Total Cost is what you make it)

Make your own housing arrangements in Abilene. Students are welcome to make their own arrangements at accommodations of their choosing in Abilene. We encourage you to stay in Dillard Hall because of its proximity to our classes, but we discount your costs by the amount for five nights at Dillard Hall ($235) and you may make your own arrangements. Total cost is what you make it ($360 to TNSS which covers your food and student costs + your own lodging).

Option D: Overflow Housing (Total Cost TBD)

In the event that we run out of rooms at Dillard Hall, there will be another on-campus housing option at The University Park Apartments. This option will not be available until all rooms at Dillard Hall are used. Price TBD.
