OTHER FACTS OF INTEREST: Has been preaching for twenty-five years, during which time he has as preached in nearly every section of Texas. Has helped establish approximately twenty congregations and has encouraged some forty young men to preach. In 1946 established Texas Normal Singing School, at Sabinal, Texas, for the purpose of training song leaders, hymn writers, and singing school teachers. Has been assisted by Austin Taylor, Holland Boring, Sr. and Jr. The School operates during June each year.
